Another Great PAWS
IN THE PARK Event!

PAWS IN THE
PARK.... Our 3rd Annual dog walk took place on September
20th, 2009! All kinds of interesting,
informative and fun activities took place throughout the
afternoon at McElroy Park. There were Agility and Dog
Obedience demonstrations, Red Cross Pet First Aid & CPR
demonstrations, vendors, food booths, raffles, door prizes
and more... It was fascinating to see such a large
variety of dogs of all sizes, colors and shapes getting
along so well together. They walked proudly with their
owners around the park, sat with them during the
demonstrations, and even did some "paw printing" that will
most likely go on the frig at home! All in all, it was
a great day, and we're hoping that our rescued pups (like
Macho in the picture below) will find a forever home.
